While heading out to get shot by bandits (again) i get a warning there's no winter clothes in my horse pack. I read a guide that said there's an option in the wardrobe menu where you normally select outfits to pack an outfit on your horse. It will have an icon of a saddle bag when the outfit is stored on the horse.

There should be an option to store the outfit on your horse.
Is there some trick to getting different outfits to save on the horse? Then go to the outfit screen and there is a button to store it on the horse. The level of bonding you have with your horse allows you to store more (up to 5). To store new alternative outfits on your horse for cold or hot weather environments you can do by purchasing them from the tailor or trapper.

I have messed with this endlessly and i either end up with 1 outfit or 2 outfits that are identical instead of two different ones.

When i was at my camp, that alert kept coming up about the clothing but no matter what i do i can not figure out how to put a change of clothes for cold weather into the saddle or whatever on my.
